Why are you reading top100.opml?
This file gets a huge number of hits.
http://scripting.com/feeds/top100.opml
Yet it hasn’t changed since 2004.
The hits come from a wide variety of IP addresses, which seems to imply some software has this URL programmed into it.
If you can provide a clue, please post a comment here.
Just curious…

Turning off tw.opml.org
I put up a demo app to illustrate how Twitter follower lists could be exported as OPML subscription lists. It became quite popular, and therefore expensive to operate. This is really functionality Twitter should be providing, not an individual. So I had to turn the service off.

Turning off listbrowser.org
listbrowser.org was an experimental site that I put up when Twitter first released its list functionality. It allowed us to explore the lists that people were creating.
Now I need the server bandwidth for other apps, so this site is now offline.
I hope you enjoyed it while it was on the air!
